Las Vegas— Ethereal Green showcased the world’s largest lab-created diamond, named the “Celebration of India,” at the JCK Show in Las Vegas from May 31 to June 3.
Produced using chemical vapor deposition (CVD), the diamond took approximately 270 days to grow to a rough weight of 190 carats, followed by about 30 days for cutting and polishing.
Hirav Virani, director at Ethereal Green, expressed pride in the creation, stating, “It gives me immense pleasure to showcase Celebration of India, which not only marks a new milestone of 75 carats but also commemorates sovereign India’s remarkable achievements over 75 years of independence.”
Tehmasp Printer, CEO of the International Gemological Institute (IGI), lauded the company’s dedication to innovation. “These achievements are striking examples of Ethereal Green’s dedication to innovation and ingenuity in consistently breaking their own records,” Printer said. “We congratulate their team for developing these extraordinary creations, showcasing the limitless possibilities with advanced technology in the lab-grown diamond sector.”
Following its debut at the JCK Show, the “Celebration of India” will be displayed at the RockRush store in SoHo, New York.
