The price of 22-carat gold also rose by Rs 10, bringing the selling price to Rs 66,810.

Global Market Trends
US gold prices edged lower on Wednesday as the dollar firmed, with investors turning their attention to the upcoming US non-farm payrolls report for insights into the Federal Reserve’s rate-cut plans. Spot gold was down 0.1% at $2,326.08 per ounce as of 0122 GMT, following a 1% loss on Tuesday. US gold futures also slipped 0.1% to $2,345.80.
Spot silver decreased by 0.1% to $29.46 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum was up 0.1% at $987.75, and palladium fell 0.4% to $911.65.
