Pandora has unveiled its lab-grown diamonds in Denmark, aiming to democratize diamond jewelry and make it accessible for more people. This launch marks a new era of sustainability and innovation, reflecting Pandora’s commitment to offering luxurious yet responsible jewelry.
“Lab-grown diamonds represent the future of luxury, combining beauty and responsibility. We are thrilled to introduce them to Denmark, our home market,” said Alexander Lacik, CEO and President of Pandora.
Diamonds Created with Renewable Energy
Lab-grown diamonds are created in laboratories with the same optical, chemical, thermal, and physical properties as mined diamonds. Graded by the traditional ‘four Cs’—cut, color, clarity, and carat—Pandora’s lab-grown diamonds are produced using 100% renewable energy, resulting in a carbon footprint only five percent that of mined diamonds. These diamonds are set in 100% recycled silver and gold. If all diamonds were produced with Pandora’s carbon footprint, it would save over six million tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to Denmark’s yearly electricity emissions. Pandora stopped using mined diamonds in 2021.
New Collections and Campaign
Four collections of Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds are now available in Denmark: Pandora Talisman, Pandora Infinite, Pandora Nova, and Pandora Era. These collections include rings, necklaces, and earrings crafted with the quality of traditional diamonds.
The launch is supported by a campaign photographed by renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti and features self-empowerment advocates such as actress and model Pamela Anderson and former Vogue Creative Director-at-Large Grace Coddington.
