Cartier has unveiled its stunning Nature Sauvage high jewellery collection for 2024, a vibrant homage to the wild kingdom that showcases the maison’s signature artistry and craftsmanship. Designed under the visionary direction of Jacqueline Karachi, the collection reinterprets the brand’s iconic animal motifs, focusing on their exhilarating and unpredictable nature.
At the heart of the collection is the remarkable Panthère Jaillissante, a hybrid ring-bracelet that features a striking panther coiling gracefully from the wrist. This unique piece holds an 8.63-carat sugarloaf-cut Zambian emerald, its fierce beauty enhanced by a body adorned with diamonds and flecked with blue sapphires, while the creature’s eyes gleam with luminous emeralds.
The collection also includes the Mochelys necklace, an artistic marvel that wraps elegantly around the neck, culminating in an abstract turtle design that appears to clutch a magnificent 71.9-carat rubellite. Unlike the bold panther, this turtle embodies a more subtle elegance, reflecting the diverse personalities found within the animal kingdom.
Karachi emphasizes the collection’s intent: to capture the essence of nature—wild, independent, and untamed. With Nature Sauvage, Cartier continues to push the boundaries of high jewellery, celebrating the intricate relationship between artistry and nature.
