In a dazzling celebration of creativity and individuality, Boucheron has unveiled new designs for its iconic Quatre collection, marking the 20th anniversary of the beloved Quatre Classique ring. This milestone reflects the maison’s commitment to empowering self-expression and adapting to societal changes over two decades.
Initially launched as a bold ring symbolizing strength and unity, the Quatre collection has evolved into a versatile range that now includes necklaces, bracelets, belts, and hair jewels. Each piece celebrates the unique spirit of the wearer while maintaining the original essence of the collection.
The Quatre collection continues to push boundaries with its innovative use of color and materials. It features a variety of editions, including striking white and black variations, as well as vibrant red and blue designs. The latest capsule collections introduce materials like denim alongside gold and diamonds, lightweight aluminum, and shimmering holographic-coated ceramics. Notably, the Double White edition combines white gold with HyCeram, a unique ceramic hybrid.
Boucheron’s vision for Quatre transcends traditional boundaries, promoting a contemporary urban aesthetic that resonates with a diverse audience. Celebrating its heritage, the original Quatre ring, crafted from 13.88 grams of gold, merges four distinctive motifs into one bold statement piece. This innovative design approach aligns with the maison’s founding principles established by Frederic Boucheron in 1858.
At the heart of the Quatre ring are four distinct bands, each embodying a rich narrative. The Double Godron features two fluted bands representing eternal love, while the Clou de Paris motif pays homage to the iconic cobblestones of Place Vendôme, where Boucheron opened its first boutique in 1893. The design is enhanced with mirror-set diamonds that reflect the brilliance synonymous with Boucheron’s high jewelry.
Artisans craft these four bands separately and join them using a unique hand-press technique, ensuring that the rings fit together seamlessly without the use of glue or soldering. This meticulous craftsmanship highlights the dedication and skill of Boucheron’s artisans.
The anniversary collection introduces exciting new iterations of the Quatre Classique ring, including a slim two-code bracelet in yellow gold, rose gold, and brown PVD, along with an oversized articulated bracelet adorned with diamonds. A standout piece is the Quatre ribbon, which creatively reinterprets the ring’s iconic elements into necklaces, bracelets, a belt, and a hair jewel.
As Boucheron celebrates 20 years of the Quatre collection, the brand remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation and luxury, inviting individuals to express their unique styles through this exquisite jewelry line.
