Artisanal Jewelry Designer Page Sargisson Unveils New Madison Avenue Store

The world of bespoke jewelry is about to experience a vibrant transformation, as designer Page Sargisson opens her second boutique at 1250 Madison Avenue, in the heart of Manhattan’s prestigious Carnegie Hill neighborhood. Known for her distinctive, one-of-a-kind designs, Sargisson’s move to Madison Avenue marks the latest chapter in her journey to redefine the fine jewelry experience.

“My jewelry is not mass-produced, it’s a reflection of my personal vision,” says Sargisson. “Each piece has texture, color, and the unmistakable mark of being hand-crafted. In an age where much of what we see is made by machines, my designs are a true representation of craftsmanship.”

Sargisson’s story begins with a childhood passion for creating—whether knitting, beading, or drawing inspiration from her grandfather’s antique wood carvings. Her transition into jewelry design was inspired by his artistry. “I learned how to carve from him,” Sargisson recalls. After years of working in communications for Genentech in San Francisco, Sargisson took a bold leap into the world of jewelry design, learning wax carving and metal smithing. The creative spark lit, and she knew she had found her true calling.

What followed was a decade-long journey, first selling her pieces on the side while working in communications, then expanding into wholesale, including a strong presence in Japan, and finally establishing her own retail presence. In 2020, she opened her first store in Brooklyn, and now, just a few years later, her work has expanded to a second location in Manhattan.

Page Sargisson’s new store offers a distinctive shopping experience that mirrors the uniqueness of her jewelry. The 1,000-square-foot space features textured walls and ceramic-tiled sections, with an abstract mural by artist Caty Wooley adding an artistic flair to the interior. Industrial felt pads hold the jewelry, creating a tactile experience for clients as they explore her latest creations. A banquette, affectionately called “the bored husband’s seat,” ensures that every visitor feels at home, whether they are browsing solo or with family.

“I wanted a space that reflects the fun, colorful nature of my jewelry,” says Sargisson. “It’s not just a store—it’s a destination. A place where people can relax, explore, and find pieces that speak to them personally.”

At the heart of Sargisson’s design philosophy is the desire to create jewelry that resonates with the individual. Specializing in engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom designs, her boutique offers a unique approach to jewelry shopping. “The jewelry world can be overwhelming with big brands and crowded jewelry districts. At Page Sargisson, I work directly with clients, ensuring that each piece is exactly what they envision,” says Sargisson.

Her signature designs range from textured pendants and rings to intricate engagement rings and wedding bands. Prices start at $600 for a gemstone necklace and can reach up to $23,500 for a 4.2-carat diamond necklace. Bestsellers include sapphire signet rings and her signature “mosaic” tablet pendants crafted in diamonds, rubies, and sapphires.

Sargisson’s Madison Avenue location has already become a destination for couples seeking personalized engagement rings. As a designer who deeply values the personal connection with her clients, Sargisson has seen an exponential increase in engagement ring sales, with a 40% increase in overall sales at her Brooklyn store last year.
