Ivanka Trump made a bold fashion statement at her father’s inauguration, wearing more than $1.1 million worth of diamond jewelry. Her pieces came from Leviev, a luxury jewelry brand owned by Israeli diamond mogul Lev Leviev.
At a dinner on the eve of the inauguration, Ivanka wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown adorned with crystals and pearls. She paired the look with diamond and platinum pear-shaped drop earrings from Leviev. These earrings, weighing 18.08 carats, are valued at $900,000, according to a Leviev representative.
The following evening, at the Liberty Inaugural Ball, Ivanka wore additional pieces from Leviev. These included a 50-carat diamond necklace, valued at $180,000, and 10-carat diamond cluster earrings worth $60,000.
Her Givenchy haute-couture gown at the ball was inspired by a 1954 design for Audrey Hepburn’s character in the film Sabrina. Ivanka was accompanied by her husband, Jared Kushner, who wore a black-tie outfit.
In total, Ivanka’s jewelry for the inauguration events exceeded $1.1 million. The Leviev jewelry brand is closely connected to Ivanka’s family. In 2015, Jared Kushner purchased four floors of the former New York Times building, a deal tied to Leviev’s company, Africa Israel Investments.
While Ivanka Trump has distanced herself from politics, her husband, Kushner, continues to advise her father, President Donald Trump, on Middle Eastern affairs.
