Renowned Scottish American designer Maeve Gillies, co-founder of the esteemed Celtic-inspired bridal brand MaeVona, has launched the “Tùsaire” collection, a pioneering series of 3D-printed jewelry pieces.
Developed in collaboration with Platinum Guild International (PGI), this innovative collection seamlessly blends Celtic heritage with cutting-edge technology, featuring 30 striking pieces that redefine the boundaries of modern jewelry design.
Utilizing direct metal 3D printing technology with platinum and titanium, the collection includes torc necklaces with interchangeable elements, cuffs, rings, and earrings.
Seven of these pieces are adorned with one-of-a-kind native Scottish stones, highlighting the beauty of Scotland’s natural treasures.
At the heart of the collection is the “Torc of the King of the Mountain” necklace, set with a Scottish Renfrewshire quartz and inspired by ancient Celtic designs.
Each piece is named after characters in Gillies’ imaginative Celtic tale, “The Lost Jewels of Caledonia,” emphasizing unity and collective strength.
Gillies expressed her excitement about the collection, stating, “This exciting new technology, and my amazing technical collaborators, have allowed me to start to bring to life my dreams of where platinum can take us.
