The Argyle Lotus – a ring set with 3.34 carats of Argyle pinks, as well as 3.82 carats of white diamonds with a “hidden” 0.12 carat fancy Argyle blue on the underside – has been unveiled in Sydney, Australia, IDEX Online reports.
The rose gold and platinum Argyle Lotus is the first piece of jewelry in the Argyle Heritage Collection, “part of the Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon Partner program launched by Rio Tinto, the mine’s owner,” according to the report.
Crafted by Sydney-based J Farren-Price in collaboration with Glajz, the Singapore-based Argyle diamond specialist, the ring is priced at $620,000 ($AU 930,000).
J Farren-Price commented: “This extraordinary collection of rare Argyle pink diamonds is a dream come true. We are excited to honor the world’s most iconic pink diamonds and each creation in the Argyle Heritage Collection will represent the ultimate in rarity and collectability.”
