Tacori Appoints Roeya Vaughan as CEO, Marking Historic Shift

Tacori, the Los Angeles-based fine-jewelry company, has announced the promotion of Roeya Vaughan to the position of chief executive officer, effective immediately. Notably, Vaughan becomes the first nonfamily member to lead the renowned brand, which was founded by the Tacorian family four decades ago.

The Tacorian family will maintain a presence within the company, with Paul Tacorian assuming the role of board chairman and co-owner. Additionally, Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian will continue her role as the head of design.

Roeya Vaughan’s ascent within Tacori began in 2020 when she joined as chief commercial officer. During her tenure, she has been instrumental in charting the brand’s trajectory for growth through the implementation of a strategic plan. This multiyear plan involves innovative marketing initiatives featuring real-life couples and families, along with a transformation from bridal jewelry specialist to a comprehensive fine-jewelry brand.

Vaughan’s contributions extend to the bridal sector, where she successfully forged strategic alliances, including a partnership with omni-channel retailer Brilliant Earth.

With a diverse career spanning 25 years across various product categories, Vaughan’s prior executive and management roles include positions at esteemed entities such as Oakley’s sunglasses business, the Asics sports brand, the Meguiar’s car-care company, and Mattel’s Barbie franchise.

Under Vaughan’s leadership, Tacori is poised to embark on a new chapter characterized by strategic evolution and growth in the dynamic world of fine jewelry.
