A jewelry store situated in Philadelphia has fallen victim to a raid, resulting in a distressing incident wherein store employees were subjected to pepper spray, leading to respiratory issues and discomfort in their eyes.

The authorities in Philadelphia, USA, have initiated a pursuit for four individuals allegedly involved in the incident. The perpetrators utilized a sledgehammer to forcefully shatter display cases within Javier the Jeweler, a store located at the Philadelphia Mills mall.

The police have reported that the deployed pepper spray was of “highly concentrated” nature, prompting the mall’s evacuation subsequent to the assault that unfolded on the evening of Saturday, August 19th.

Responding swiftly to the situation, emergency personnel were dispatched to provide necessary medical attention to the affected store workers. It is noteworthy that none of the employees sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident.

Fortunately, the store had no customers present during the time of the raid.
