Following the conclusion of the Sydney Fair for this year, Expertise Events, the organizing body, has directed its focus toward the forthcoming schedule of events within the jewelry industry. A notable change on the horizon involves the relocation of the Australian Jewellery Fair (AJF) for its next edition.
Launched last year with the intention of invigorating the industry post the COVID-19 pandemic, the AJF provided retailers with a platform to augment their collections and explore novel products ahead of occasions like Mother’s Day.
Previously held twice at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, the forthcoming 2024 edition of the fair will witness a transition to the Gold Coast Convention Centre. This venue alteration is set to offer attendees a fresh backdrop for engagement.
Scheduled for March 24-25 in the upcoming year, the AJF is planned to adopt a more “intimate” ambiance. This approach seeks to foster substantive collaboration between buyers and suppliers, thereby enhancing the overall experience for participants.
Gary Fitz-Roy, the Managing Director of Expertise Events, expressed optimism about the future event. Notably, supplier bookings have commenced on a positive note, contributing to the heightened anticipation surrounding the 2024 Australian Jewellery Fair.
