Idar-Oberstein, Germany – Organisers are gearing up for the 39th annual Intergem show in Germany’s jewellery centre, Idar-Oberstein.
The show will be held at the Idar-Oberstein Exhibition Centre from 29 September to 1 October.
The show will welcome around 90 national and international exhibitors, including Groh + Ripp, Karl Faller, Hermann Grimm, HC Arnoldi, Arnoldi International, Kreis Jewellery and Emil Weis.
Newcomers include the Osmium Institute and transport service provider Parcel Broker.
The GemTec exhibition area and symposium will feature technology companies, including Günter Effgen and DMG MORI, who will share the latest industry developments with attendees.
Jewellery influencer Katerina Perez will host the ‘Live Jewellery Show’, where models will wear jewellery selected by Perez.
The show will also feature loose gemstones for the first time.Perez will share her insights on jewellery trends, gemstones and fashion, and will also livestream the show to her social media followers.
On Friday evening, the show will host a get-together where attendees will be treated to food and wine. On Saturday, attendees can articipate in the Long Night of Gemstones. Guests will be able to tour the city and visit a number of locations free of charge from 7pm until midnight.
Locations include the German Gemstone Museum, the German Mineral Museum, the Bengel Industrial Monument, the Steinkaulenberg Gemstone Mines, the Trier University of Applied Sciences – Idar-Oberstein Campus, the Weiherschleife, the German Gemmological Society and the Fischbach Copper Mine.
Due to limited availability, guests are advised to make an appointment to visit these sites. A shuttle service will be provided between the sites.
