New York – Jewelers for Children (JFC) has announced that its annual JFC Day will take place on 23 September.
The nonprofit organization, dedicated to helping children affected by illness, abuse or neglect, hosts the fundraising day each year to celebrate its successes and unite retail jewellers to raise awareness and funds for its charitable causes.
Across the country, retailers host in-store promotions to benefit JFC’s charity partners, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the National CASA/GAL Association, which recently recognized JFC for its positive impact.
JFC also supports Make-A-Wish International and the Autism Research Organization.
Since its inception in 1999, JFC has contributed more than $61 million through its partners.
Suppliers, retailers and consumers are all welcome to participate in JFC Day. No monetary contribution is required.
Participants can register online and access a participation guide with resources on how to support the charity, as well as a link to a JFC Day video news release that can be shared on social media and with local media markets.
The charity is also offering retailers the opportunity to personalise the video by adding their logo.
“We are thrilled to invite all jewellers to join us in celebrating Jewelers for Children Day on 23 September,” said JFC Executive Director David Rocha.
“This event provides a powerful platform for the jewellery industry to come together and make a lasting difference in the lives of children in need. By using the personalised video press release, retailers can share their commitment to philanthropy and inspire their communities to get involved.”
