Prince William is reportedly concerned about the whereabouts of jewellery that once belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana, which was given to Meghan Markle.
Meghan, 42, was given an engagement ring by Prince Harry, 39, in 2017 which reportedly included two diamonds from his late mother’s jewellery collection. Prince Harry said at the time that the two gems were set alongside a stone from Botswana on a plain gold band.
It’s believed that less than two years later, the engagement ring underwent a slight redesign, with reports suggesting it was ‘updated’ to feature a thinner band instead. The new version was said to have been debuted by Meghan, alongside a different ring, at Trooping the Colour in 2019.

Meghan has been spotted without the ring at various engagements this year, including a gala in May. It was later reported that it was being ‘repaired’. More recently, she didn’t wear the ring at the Invictus Games alongside her husband last month.
A source told New Idea magazine that her brother-in-law Prince William, 41, is said to be concerned about the whereabouts of his late mother’s jewels. It comes amid rumours that he’s estranged from his brother Prince Harry and Meghan. The couple have made various comments about the royal family in recent years, including in a documentary last year.
Speaking about the engagement ring, which was said to have ‘disappeared’, the source said it didn’t make sense that Meghan – who married Prince Harry in 2018 – wouldn’t be ‘proudly’ wearing her engagement ring at the event in Germany. The source suggested it may have caused some concern among his relatives in the UK.
