New York – The non-profit and grant-making organisation Diamonds Do Good (DDG) is launching a new campaign.
“Real People | Real Impact” is a film that showcases various DDG initiatives in Botswana, Tanzania and South Africa.
According to DDG, the campaign touches on the positive impact of its programmes, and the diamond trade in general, on communities in diamond-producing regions.
DDG will share its campaign with the industry this autumn thanks to a grant from the JCK Industry Fund.
New Yorkers who want a sneak peek can see the video at a special screening next week.
DDG will host attendees at the Ila Penthouse on 28th Street near 8th Avenue on Monday, 30 October. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the screening will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Julius Klein Diamonds and Hearts on Fire are sponsoring the screening.
“We are thrilled to invite you to the screening of our ‘Real People | Real Impact’ campaign, an inspiring journey that reveals the transformative power of natural diamonds,” said Anna Martin, President of Diamonds Do Good.
“The event promises to be an evening of learning, networking and celebration as we share Diamonds Do Good’s commitment to making a positive difference in the world.”
To attend the screening, please RSVP online.
Diamonds Do Good will participate in the upcoming JA New York Show, taking place at the Javits Center in New York City from 29-31 October.
There, DDG will host a pop-up educational session on 31 October at 11am entitled “From Rough to Radiant: Behind the Scenes with Diamonds Do Good”.
