Canada unearths Tiffany’s largest ever yellow diamond

Sourced from Canada, the diamond represents Tiffany’s relentless pursuit of the most extraordinary gemstones the world has to offer.

The largest rough Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond ever discovered in Canada, weighing in at over 71 carats, this remarkable rough gem was sustainably sourced from the Ekati Mine in the Northwest Territories. Considered a miracle of nature, it is extremely rare due to its highly saturated vivid yellow colour and near-perfect octahedral shape.

Tiffany’s artisans cut each one in the coveted classic emerald cut. Victoria Wirth Reynolds, Chief Gemmologist at Tiffany & Co. said, “Our artisans have hand-crafted this rough stone into two gems of unparalleled vivid yellow colour and brilliance – transforming the wonders of nature through the extraordinary skill of Tiffany craftsmanship.
