The Albany Business Review recently honoured the 100-year-old company.
Albany, N.Y.-Frank Adams Jewelers was recently honoured by the Albany Business Review, taking home the title of Family Business of the Year.
The Capital Region jeweller celebrated its 100th anniversary last year.
Founder Frank H. Adams set up shop in downtown Albany in 1922 as a watch repair business. The following generations grew the family business into a luxury watch and jewellery retailer.
Now in its fourth generation, the company is an official Rolex retailer and carries several designer jewellery brands, including David Yurman, Kwiat, Roberto Coin, Ippolita and Jade Trau.
The secret to its success may be its focus on one principle: it’s all about the customer.
“Everything we do is done through the lens of our customers,” says Kimberly Adams Russell, president of Frank Adams Jewelers.
“In the world of online shopping, we are privileged to have such a dedicated customer base. We pride ourselves on providing a unique, elevated customer experience that can’t be found anywhere else. It’s what keeps us going and we are eternally grateful for the community’s continued support.The company will move to a new flagship location at 144 Wolf Road in Colonie, New York in February 2024.
The freestanding 7,500-square-foot store will “foster a more intimate shopping experience”, the retailer said, and allow it to expand its relationships with brand partners.
