New York – Bucherer is introducing Rahaminov Diamonds to customers in its US retail stores.
The Lucerne, Switzerland-based retailer, which was recently acquired by Rolex, is partnering with the family-owned company to bring its fine jewellery to Bucherer stores.
Bucherer will carry the line at its flagship store in New York, its “TimeDome” store in Las Vegas, and stores in Florida and California, as well as online.
Bucherer said the values of Rahaminov Diamonds, “rooted in heritage and exceptional craftsmanship”, align with its own.
The history of Rahaminov Diamonds began in the 1940s. The company was founded by the Rahaminov brothers, who were diamond cutters in the Israeli cooperative Buchara Diamonds.
Tamara Rahaminov, daughter of co-founder Moshe Rahaminov, and her husband Amir Goldfiner were the next generation to take the reins. They opened an office in Los Angeles in the 1980s and developed the company into a luxury brand through Tamara’s designs.
Tamara and Amir’s daughters, Nicol and Melanie Goldfiner, are the third generation and hope to continue the company’s “legacy of talent, love and a deep appreciation for the beauty of diamonds”.
The two brands launched their partnership last week at an event at Bucherer’s New York flagship, the TimeMachine store, where attendees were treated to a never-before-seen high jewellery collection.
“We are thrilled to bring our unique jewels to New York, especially with such an iconic brand. Bucherer is the perfect partner and venue to showcase some of our true gems,” said Amir, who serves as President of Rahaminov Diamonds.
We have selected never-before-seen pieces, including a blue diamond toi et moi ring that will truly impress [his] customers, along with other exquisite pieces.”
