Diamonds Do Good (DDG), the non-profit organization, has announced its latest leadership team, with Kathy Corey, former owner of Day’s Jewellers, assuming the role of president. Corey, who maintains a position on the board of the Maine- and New Hampshire-based jeweler, is set to lead the organization for a two-year term, according to the official announcement made on January 22.
The newly formed executive committee includes Peter Engel, a seasoned retail jewelry consultant, who will serve as president-elect, and Anna Martin, the immediate past president. In addition, David Bonaparte, the CEO of Jewellers of America (JA), will take on the responsibilities of treasurer.
