New York— Platinum Guild International USA has announced the recipients of its second round of business development grants, aimed at fostering a greater emphasis on platinum within the operations of manufacturers, designers, and retailers in the jewelry industry.
The distinguished recipients for the 2024-2026 period include A. Jaffe, Frederick Goldman Inc., Miosogno by the Jewelex Group, and Robbins Brothers.
Miosogno, a recently established luxury brand under the Jewelex Group, is among the notable awardees.
Expressing enthusiasm about the robust response received during this grant cycle, PGI USA Senior Vice President Kevin Reilly remarked, “The grant recipients boast a rich heritage and a track record of successful generations in the jewelry industry, particularly within the relationship jewelry category.”
Reilly added, “Our ongoing consumer research indicates that nearly 70 percent of consumers express a preference for platinum in their engagement rings and wedding bands. However, the actual adoption of platinum lags behind. We expect significant success from these companies as they deploy the grant funds towards comprehensive marketing initiatives to bridge the gap between the desire for platinum and its acquisition.”
PGI USA initiated the grant program in 2021, with the inaugural participants being Helzberg Diamonds, Mémoire, and Kwiat. The organization noted that these participants achieved “outstanding platinum sales results” subsequent to receiving the grants.
