Cherry Hill, New Jersey—Authorities in New Jersey have launched a search for two individuals involved in an armed robbery at a jewelry store within a local mall over the past weekend.
At approximately 10:40 a.m. on February 2nd, law enforcement responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Philly Diamond Connection situated in Cherry Hill Mall.
According to a statement issued by the Cherry Hill Police Department, the management of the store informed authorities that two masked individuals, armed with firearms, forcibly held the store’s employees at gunpoint while they proceeded to empty the contents of the establishment’s safe.
After the robbery, the suspects swiftly fled the scene in a black SUV lacking license plates, which had been parked within the mall’s vicinity.
Authorities disclosed that the vehicle was last observed traveling eastward on Church Road following the incident.
In efforts to apprehend the perpetrators, police have disseminated surveillance footage images depicting the suspects as well as the vehicle utilized during the crime.
