Hoffman Estates, Ill.—Jam + Rico, the Caribbean-infused jewelry brand established by Lisette Scott, has debuted its latest collection slated for release at Claire’s.
Scott’s initial collection for the retailer drew upon her Caribbean roots and nostalgic memories of summers spent in California.
For this second installment, Scott drew inspiration from the intricate designs, vibrant hues, and symbolic significance inherent in African art and architecture.
The new offering, comprising 10 pieces, seamlessly melds global fashion with the meticulous craftsmanship rooted in African traditions, as noted by Claire’s.
“The collection serves as a celebration of cultural exchange, emphasizing the importance of forging connections and honoring the unique narratives woven into art and design,” remarked Scott.
“As you peruse the Claire’s and Jam + Rico collection, we aspire for you to not only encounter stylish accessories but also to engage with the profound stories and inspirations that render each piece exceptional.”
Crafted from 18-karat gold plating, the jewelry assortment includes bangles, hoops, statement earrings, rings, and a necklace.
Scott, who also operates within the realm of fine jewelry and was a part of the inaugural class of the Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative, imbues her creations with both style and substance.
Priced between $25 and $55, the pieces are accessible both online and in Claire’s stores.
