Matteo Farsura has been appointed as the Global Exhibition Manager for the Jewellery & Fashion Division of the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), stepping into the position previously held by Marco Carniello, who now assumes the role of Chief Business Officer overseeing IEG’s new Business Division, coordinating all industries within the exhibition realm.
In his new capacity, Farsura will spearhead the management of various shows within IEG’s Jewellery Agenda, both in Italy and internationally. These include renowned events such as Vicenzaoro, Oroarezzo, T.Gold, The Italian Jewelry Summit, Valenza Gem Forum, VO’Clock Privé, VO Vintage, as well as the JGTD and SIJE held in Dubai and Singapore respectively. Additionally, he will oversee FIMAST, an integral part of IEG’s Jewellery & Fashion division.
Hailing from Padua, Italy, Farsura brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having joined IEG in 2017. He initially contributed to the development of the technology segment before transitioning to events in Arezzo and ultimately to Vicenzaoro. With a background in Business Administration from the Cà Foscari University in Venice and an MBA from the CUOA Foundation in collaboration with the University of Michigan Dearborn, Farsura has honed his managerial skills in the luxury and event organization sectors. Notably, his professional journey includes tenure with a prominent Italian fashion jewelry company, where he further enriched his expertise. Drawing inspiration from his passion for rugby, both as a player and a coach, Farsura embodies values of teamwork, dedication, and strategic thinking, which he brings to his leadership role at IEG’s Jewellery & Fashion Division.
