Platinum Guild International (PGI) has announced the appointment of Tim Schlick as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant development for the organization.
Schlick’s journey with PGI began in 2015 when he joined as Chief Strategy Officer, leveraging his extensive experience in business strategy and marketing. Progressing through various roles, he most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer, demonstrating his capabilities and leadership within the organization. With a robust background advising over 30 Fortune 500 companies on growth strategies related to brands and products, Schlick is poised to steer PGI into its next phase of evolution.

Hailing from Europe, Schlick boasts a profound understanding of the Asian jewelry industry, having spent significant time in the region prior to his relocation. This diverse experience equips him to navigate the complexities of the global jewelry market adeptly.
Under Schlick’s leadership, PGI aims to continue generating incremental value for its sponsors and trade partners while seizing new opportunities to stimulate demand for platinum and foster global expansion. This mission garners support from key stakeholders, including leading global miner Anglo American, Impala Platinum, and Northam Platinum.
