Sotheby’s Paris is set to dazzle collectors with an extraordinary jewellery auction featuring the exquisite collection of a Spanish socialite. Among the highlights is a remarkable jewel boasting a row of step-cut emeralds and marquise-shaped diamonds, ingeniously designed to double as two bracelets. Leading the jewellery segment of the Paris sale, this piece will share the limelight with a selection of dazzling items from renowned brands such as Cartier, David Webb, Harry Winston, Bulgari, and Tiffany & Co.
Part of the broader event titled “Una Casa, Una Vida: Yolanda Eleta de Fierro Collection,” the jewellery auction will showcase treasures from her neoclassical Madrid residence. The live auction is scheduled for May 21, with an accompanying online sale running from May 7 to 22.
Yolanda Eleta de Fierro, a passionate collector since 1945, amassed a remarkable array of gemstones, notably diamonds and emeralds. Her designs reflect her Panamanian and Costa Rican heritage, alongside her penchant for exquisitely crafted gold pieces and intricate animal motifs.

Equally impressive are a pair of Jacques Timey emerald and diamond ear clips, adorned with pear-shaped emeralds surrounded by marquise-shaped diamonds, with an estimated value of up to $700,000.
Another highlight is an emerald and diamond ring, embellished with a striking 16.34-carat emerald and brilliant-cut diamonds, anticipated to sell for $150,000 to $250,000.
The collection also boasts two exceptional pieces by David Webb: a captivating dolphin-shaped sapphire and diamond brooch, alongside a hammered 18-karat gold hinged cuff bracelet adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, with price estimates ranging from $12,000 to $25,000.
