New York— Christie’s recent Magnificent Jewels auction showcased an extraordinary array of rare diamonds, notable colored stones, and exquisite jewelry pieces from prestigious brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels.
The auction’s highlight was “The Eden Rose” ring, featuring a 10.20-carat round brilliant Fancy Intense Pink diamond, which sold for $13.3 million, exceeding its high estimate. The event drew global participation, with bids coming from the Americas (51%), Europe (24%), and the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions (26%).

The 10.20-carat Fancy Intense Pink Internally Flawless diamond exceeded all expectations, achieving an impressive $13.3 million, well beyond its high estimate. Collectors actively participated across all segments of the sale, paying premium prices for rare colored gemstones and natural pearls. We eagerly anticipate concluding our spring jewelry sale season with New York Jewels Online and Joaillerie Paris, both scheduled for June.”
The auction also saw strong results for colored diamonds and gemstones. An Important Colored Diamond and Diamond Pendant Necklace sold for $2,167,500, while a Fancy Vivid Blue Heart Modified Brilliant-Cut Diamond of 2.28 carats fetched $2,107,000.
The successful sale underscored the robust market demand for rare and exceptional jewelry pieces, with collectors worldwide driving premium prices for unique gemstones and luxurious items.
