Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Monday, following a rise in international rates. The price per tola of gold reached Rs242,000, marking a single-day gain of Rs500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price for 10-gram gold rose by Rs429, settling at Rs207,476. This comes after a decline on Saturday, when the gold price per tola dropped by Rs1,400 to Rs241,500.
The increase aligns with a rise in international gold rates, which climbed by $8 to $2,328 per ounce, including a premium of $20 as per APGJSA.
In contrast, silver rates in the local market remained unchanged at Rs2,850 per tola.
It’s worth noting that back in April, gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola.
