Tiffany & Co. has announced the upcoming release of the final phase of the Tiffany Céleste collection, set to debut this fall as part of the 2024 Blue Book. This release continues the esteemed tradition of the Tiffany Blue Book, first introduced in 1845, and marks the third installment of the Céleste collection, which celebrates the visionary designs of Jean Schlumberger.
Schlumberger, who began his illustrious collaboration with Tiffany & Co. in 1956, is renowned for his whimsical and elegant creations that captivated the elite. Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry at Tiffany & Co., pays tribute to Schlumberger’s vibrant, nature-inspired pieces in this year’s Blue Book.
The latest additions to the Tiffany Céleste collection exemplify Schlumberger’s enchanting artistry and further his legacy with the brand. This launch introduces four new themes: Owl on A Rock, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Star Burst, alongside new designs inspired by previous chapters.
The Owl on A Rock, inspired by Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on A Rock design, showcases an owl perched on a “moon rock.” The piece incorporates black opals, moonstones, tanzanites, and sapphires, creating a mystical night-inspired counterpart to its predecessor. The Phoenix motif, rooted in the Phoenix brooch, symbolizes rebirth and features vibrant fire opals, Umba sapphires, and rubellites. Notably, a statement necklace in this theme showcases 17 cushion-cut rubellites totaling over 73 carats.
In homage to Schlumberger’s Crazy Twist designs, the collection presents an enchanting Unicorn brooch, characterized by a swirled horn adorned with diamonds and purple and pink sapphires exceeding 25 carats. The final theme, Star Burst, pays tribute to the brightest galaxies, highlighted by a necklace featuring six crystal opals totaling over 64 carats and complemented by diamonds.
This exclusive collection will be unveiled at a high jewelry event in Madrid this fall, promising to captivate jewelry enthusiasts and collectors alike.
