A stunning 3.24-carat fancy vivid blue diamond ring, estimated to be worth up to $6 million, is set to take center stage at the upcoming Geneva Jewels Auction, hosted by Phillips. The prestigious sale, which opens on November 11 at the Hotel President, will feature an array of exquisite pieces from renowned jewelry houses such as Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Buccellati.
This Geneva auction is the latest in a series of high-profile sales for Phillips, following their successful auction in Hong Kong earlier in October. Benoît Repellin, Phillips’ worldwide head of jewelry, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, highlighting the extraordinary selection of gems, including natural sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, all presented without any enhancements or treatments. According to Repellin, “We are thrilled to showcase not only rare and captivating stones like the red diamond and emeralds but also the blue diamond, which is expected to draw significant attention.”
Other high-profile pieces at the auction include a 17.97-carat Burmese ruby and diamond ring, expected to sell for between $4.8 million and $5.5 million, as well as a 40.54-carat fancy intense yellow diamond ring with the same valuation range. The auction will also feature an array of equally stunning pieces, such as an Art Deco Cartier emerald and diamond ring from the 1920s, expected to fetch up to $1.2 million.
Among the standout items are a 3.88-carat fancy dark grey-blue diamond ring, with an estimated price tag of up to $1 million, and a 1.21-carat fancy red diamond ring known as “The Red Miracle,” valued at $800,000. Additionally, a remarkable Bulgari Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring, estimated at $480,000 to $600,000, and a Columbian emerald ring featuring a 20.49-carat center stone, estimated at $750,000 to $1 million, will be part of the dazzling collection.
As anticipation builds for this remarkable Geneva sale, the spotlight remains on Phillips as a key player in the world of high-end jewelry auctions. Their continued success, marked by record-breaking sales and standout lots, solidifies their reputation as a leader in luxury jewelry. With such an impressive selection of rare gemstones, the Geneva auction is sure to attract collectors and enthusiasts from around the world.
