The 2025 Centurion Show, the premier event for luxury retailers, jewelry manufacturers, and designers in the U.S., set the tone for the upcoming year’s trends. Held at the Phoenix Biltmore Resort from February 2-4, this invite-only event saw an impressive attendance from more than 330 retail businesses, marking a new record for the trade show. Over 250 exhibitors presented their creations, from diamond engagement rings to creatively designed colored gemstone jewels, solidifying the event’s influence in the industry.
A Focus on Colored Gemstones
Color took center stage at this year’s Centurion Show, with numerous designers embracing the vibrant allure of colored gemstones. Some of the leading names in the jewelry world, traditionally focused on diamonds, embraced the trend, unveiling exciting new collections that featured colorful gems.
Varsha Diamonds introduced its “Color Candy” collection, a playful yet sophisticated line of rings set with amethyst, garnet, blue topaz, and citrine in 14k gold and gold-plated silver. CEO Nick Mehta highlighted the growing demand for colorful pieces, acknowledging that retailers are increasingly seeking vibrant designs for their customers.
Gumuchian, known for its diamond jewelry, displayed the “Spectrum” collection, which combines diamonds with an array of colorful gems in two-stone “toi et moi” rings and drop earrings. The collection also featured a stunning multi-gem necklace, which stood out for its bold use of color.
Mark Henry Jewelry expanded its offering by including semi-precious gemstones in its latest collection, featuring cabochon cut pink and green tourmalines, moonstones, and diamonds set in 18K gold. Meanwhile, Bellarri introduced the “Alexa” collection, which showcased vibrant stacking bangles in multicolored gemstones set in 14k rose, yellow, and white gold.
Lisa Nik, a designer renowned for her colored gemstone creations, unveiled a striking multi-gemstone necklace at the show, emphasizing the uniqueness of each piece due to the natural variations of the gems.
Italian Masterpieces
The Centurion Show also witnessed the participation of several prestigious Italian brands. Annamaria Cammilli, known for its fine gold craftsmanship, presented the “Hypnose” collection—featuring sculptural jewels framed by a delicate diamond border. This collection exemplifies the brand’s unique use of gold in several proprietary colors.
Chimento, another Italian favorite, showcased its “Armilla Glow” collection, which blends smooth polished gold finishes with gemstones like malachite. Meanwhile, Picchiotti introduced its “Chandelier” collection, which highlighted diamond-haloed sapphires in necklaces, earrings, and rings.
High Jewelry from Renowned Brands
As an exception in the high jewelry world, the Centurion Show attracted celebrated houses such as Oscar Heyman, which displayed a breathtaking necklace featuring over 60 gemstones, including emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. The design was a testament to the brand’s dedication to producing high-quality, gemstone-focused jewelry.
Robert Procop, known for its exceptional high jewelry pieces, made its debut at the show with creations like a museum-quality ring featuring a 5.92-carat Montana sapphire. Also present was Rahaminov Diamonds, a brand frequently spotted on red carpets, which presented its dazzling Sofia Lariat necklace set with 34.29 carats of diamonds.
Innovative Diamond Jewelry
Diamonds remain a staple at Centurion, with exhibitors such as Tacori and Verragio showcasing their unique designs. Tacori’s three-stone diamond rings broke away from the trend of minimalist solitaire rings, offering bold and personalized designs, while Verragio’s “Vanguard” collection introduced a “ring embellisher” to complement commitment rings and wedding bands.
Shah Luxury took creativity to new heights by embellishing non-jewelry items like golf putters with diamonds, while Sethi Couture delighted with stackable rings featuring a variety of diamond shapes in 18k gold.
Smiling Rocks also made a splash by combining lab-grown diamonds with natural sapphires in an innovative necklace, showcasing how synthetic and natural gemstones can coexist harmoniously in luxury designs.
The 2025 Centurion Show was truly a celebration of color, creativity, and craftsmanship, with designers pushing the boundaries of jewelry design and offering a glimpse of the future of luxury.
